Animals have often demonstrated that they are the gentlest spirits when it comes to assisting those in need. Nonetheless, their boundless kindness never ceases to astonish us.
This time, a video of a gorilla offering affection to a small injured bird went viral, and rightfully so!
The image was captured on CCTV at a zoo in New South Wales, Australia, and shows a gorilla who is concerned about a bird that has fallen into his enclosure.
The big gorilla goes to investigate as soon as it detects the little bird. Then he cautiously settles down next to the defenseless bird, gently caressing it to check on it.
To many who observed the noble deed, it was nothing short of astounding.
One witness can be heard saying, “He’s so gentle with it,” while another says, “It looks like he’s trying to get it to go.” “How awesome was that?” exclaims a woman.
