There are many stories about dogs’ loyalty, and wonderful photos like these show how affectionate they can be.
When a homeless guy was carried to the hospital in Brazil, the doctors assumed he was alone in the world.
But, as everyone knew, he had some of the best, most caring, and most devoted friends waiting for him outside the hospital.
Luiz used to live on the streets of Cianorte City in Paraná, Brazil, for about 20 years.
Despite the fact that he lacked a family, he was never alone because his furry companions were constantly at his side, even during his darkest moments.
The man had a stroke late one night. Thankfully, several bystanders realized he was experiencing major troubles and phoned an ambulance.

Luiz was brought to the hospital a few minutes later, but his frightened companions never left him alone.
The six dogs Luiz was caring for chased the ambulance all the way to the hospital, where they simply laid on the ground in front of the entrance and quietly awaited their human’s recovery.
The encounter was caught on camera and has since gone viral.
When the hospital’s personnel saw the dogs weren’t leaving, they contacted the Amigos de Patas Cianorte, a non-profit animal care organization, who agreed to look after them.
The dogs, however, refused to leave the area and stayed to wait for Luiz.

Amigos de Patas Cianorte commented on Facebook, “He lives with his pals and treats them very well, he shares everything with them.”
“That night he had a stroke … his friends of paws accompanied him and they waited for him in front of the hospital. There they remain in vigil.”
Luiz was freed from the hospital the next morning, but he exited through a separate entrance, unaware that his loyal companions were waiting for him.
“The dogs were desperate,” Amigos de Patas Cianorte worker Simone Ziliane told Brazilian outlet G1.
“On Thursday morning, when Luiz was discharged and left with his brother through another door, the dogs remained at the hospital entrance.”

“One of the volunteers from the NGO had to fetch Luiz at his brother’s house and take him to where the dogs were for them to leave the front.”
Luiz and his caring buddies have finally been reunited!
